Feel Free Anytime To Come.....HOME

This song paints some of the most beautiful, truthful, and life-changing images in a listener's mind. A song like this must be heard all by all, to ravage callous hearts and fill empty lives. It reminds me too, of the message the "Parable of the Prodigal Son" brings.

Time Changer

The greatest strength of this entire production, is the convicting message of how our generation has drifted from the fear of God and settled into the lap of comfort and compromise. Rich Christiano has pieced together just about every dark area of our generation and society, and made us look at ourselves through the eyes of Christ. The central message of this film is aimed at the church of today and our need for revival and repentance. But this film also keeps the unchurched in mind, by including a simple plan of salvation that does not come across offensively or aggressive. This is a thought-provoking journey that reveals how relevant God is for today and boldly explores the importance of God in our culture. Time Changer is an interesting look at the timeless importance of God with a timeless message that could change your life!

A-Okay, Love Happens!

A movie about a therapist who asks his patients to openly confront their pain but secretly, he himself is unable to take his own advice. Not until he met a lady who
has sworn off men and decided to focus on her floral business. As each struggles with the hurt of love and loss, they realize that in order to move forward, they need to let go of the past. And if they can, they'll find that, sometimes, love happens when you least expect it.
Another movie I would like to recommend, not one of your chick-flick type of movie, but one which will inspire both as a person or a lover.

The Blind Side

This is another feel good movie that I recommend everyone to watch. Another of the best family movies you should watch with your kids. the movie will teach them to see the good side in everyone and not to be judgmental of people. What’s great about this film is that it is a true-to-life story. The story of Michael “Big Mike” Oher, a big, traumatized and homeless kid who was given a chance by a caring family to excel in life.

2012

I was able to download and watch the latest movie "2012" the other night. The graphics were so real, it was amazing.Halfway through, i realized i was watching the movie with my jaw dropped. It was full of suspense, i wasn’t bored at all, not even for a single minute. Every second was just filled with anticipation and wonder. Every part was astonishing. But what touched me the most was the near-end part of the movie, when a man said
"the moment we stop fighting for each other, that's the moment we lose our humanity"
. These words are so true. For me, the end-time message of this movie is only a part of the reflections you can get when you watch it. The greatest lesson from this film is that we should always care for each other and we should not wait 'til there's no time for us to care and show our concern. We should treat each day as the last day of our lives and always make the most that we can do to let other people feel that they are loved.

Letting Go: Letting God

While waiting for the news on TV, I happened to turn the channel to MYX(pinoy MTV). The segment during that time was LIVE, a 30-minute show that featured the songs of a certain artist. It was Gary Valenciano's tribute album that had been featured tonight. All of Gary's songs were sang by various artists, and for me, the most touching song on that album is "Letting Go". I know this song is worth sharing. I hope you will all be blessed as you listen to it.

When I Cry You Cry

I was in the house of one of the members of the young professionals in my pastorate, when I heard this song. It was the first time that I heard it and I cannot keep myself from appreciating it. Eventually I found myself teary eyed, because again, another song made an impact and touched my heart.

Gaither Vocal Band When I Cry lyrics

Lyrics

I always find myself crying when I'm alone and disturbed by life's struggles, and it comforts me to know that God is crying with me too and that His heart breaks whenever mine is hurt.

This is my story, this is my song!

I had a long and tiring day which is why I wanted to end it by listening to godly music. I inserted the DVD of "The Promise: A Voice of Family Reunion Concert" into my player and watched it. The song entitled "Personal" caught my attention. Probably because the song describes my Christian journey and my personal encounter with God. I'm sharing it to you now because this is my story and it is my life's song.

Personal

Verse 1
I remember when I was just a little boy
And with all the simple things I could find so much joy
But somehow church always seemed too l
They always sang the same old songs
I knew about Jesus and His love
Even why He came to die

Chorus
But this time it's personal
I feel His love inside of me
This time it's personal
I used to be blind but now I see
He's more than someone I just talk about
He's the only friend I can't live without
Oh, how I love you , Lord
This time it's personal

Verse 2
I said that I believed because it was the thing to do
But my actions never, ever showed that I ever once knew you
Always taking for granted your love and grace
And still expecting to see your face
Never wondering once how you might feel
But now I try to keep it real

Chorus
But this time it's personal
I feel His love inside of me
This time it's personal
I used to be blind but now I see
He's more than someone I just talk about
He's the only friend I can't live without
Oh, how I love you, Lord
This time it's personal

I never gave you full control
Taking for granted the scars in your hands
But now the joy that floods my soul
For in your sweet love I stand
For in your sweet love I stand

Movie-Blessed!

It's either you get frustrated or satisfied with a movie after watching it. But have you ever been blessed by a movie? I was. It is amazing how God worked in me as I watched these movies that left a big impact in my life. My previous blog would show how I was blessed when I watched the movie 'Fireproof". I often download movies, but I never thought of downloading movies like these. The urge of looking for some movies like Fireproof made me search the internet. I found three other movies that made me even more blessed. "Facing the Giants", a "Mighty Ducks' type of movie, was indeed an inspiration for me to strive for the best in my faith and ministry. "Flywheel" taught me to treat every person fairly and work honestly for His glory. "Faith Like Potatoes" showed me that faith is needed even in the simplest activity of our life. I can't afford not to share my experience in watching these movies. Watch them too, and get ready to be movie-blessed!

I Was Fireproofed!

This has been a long day for me. i woke up at 8 in the morning and a few minutes from now it will be 2am. Last night was probably the worst, but tonight is incredible. I thank God, and carmi (my girlfriend) for letting me know about the movie "Fireproof". I used to see it on the advertisments at sermoncentral, but I downloaded it because carmi told me that she was sure i'd love the movie. I just finished watching it, and this is one of the most touching, heartwarming, and sensible movies I've ever seen. I knew that I needed to learn many things when it comes to relationships, which is probably what made me read books about relationships and listen to advice from the experienced people. One of the reasons why I've tried to learn so many things and why i am still learning alot of things in taking good care of a relationship,is Carmi. She is indeed a gift from God. She must be "The good wife which is a gift from God", that Solomon was talking about. Woaah...My heart was Fireproofed!

Pastors Also Cry!

After my devotional this morning, I plugged my ipod in my audio speaker and listened to my favorite Christian songs. While drinking coffee, the song “Who Am I” by Casting Crowns caught my attention. This song is one of my favorites but I never got a chance to internalize the message of the song not until this morning. I was singing along with the song when I found myself crying. I've never cried that hard before. But as I was singing, tears continued to flow down my eyes. The message of the song really had an impact in my life and I know the lyrics are worth sharing.

Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You're

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours

Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me

I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours

I hope this song would leave an impact to whoever may hear or read it. May it touch you just the way it touched my sinful yet open heart. Be blessed!
